Reprint on the Stands!

Dear readers,

We wanted to let you know we are hard at work on the Fall/Winter issue, which we expect to hit the stands mid- to late-August or early September!

We know you are as excited as we are to see the latest issue of Flea Market Style!

We also wanted to note that reprints of the Spring issue are on the stands now, with the words "display until September." We wanted to be sure you know that these are reprinted issues, not the new ones, and  to hold tight if you have already purchased the last issue. New content is coming soon!

Ki Headed to Old Glory!

Your intrepid Flea Market Style mag editor--in-chief is on her way to the Old Glory Antiques Fair in Denver this weekend!

Ki will join organizer Holly Kuhn Friday and Saturday for the outdoor event that features more than 70 antiques dealers from Colorado and surrounding states!

Kuhn, who operates Old Glory Antiques stores in Denver and Boulder, Colo., says new vendors this years are coming from as far away as New Jersey, Missouri and Texas. (Also appearing: FMS team member Cammie's business, Daffadowndilly's, from Nebraska!

Also new this year: The Mercantile, a large tent that will feature artisans and a treasure trove of hand-made, vintage-inspired goods, from jewelry to pottery and paper!

Ki is signing magazines on Friday at the sold-out Picnic in the Park. Also appearing: Jo Packham of Where Women Create and Ben Ashby of Folk magazine.

Old Glory is also awash in live music, and, as an extra incentive for the early morning lineup: Duffey Rolls, a Denver tradition!

New Magazine Draws Near...Er!

There is as much work to putting out a single issue of Flea Market Style!

The dog and pony show before the dog and pony show!

Ki and her team are not quite in the home stretch with the Fall 2013 issue, but they are coming down to the wire on a lot of deadlines!

So far they have:

 *Completed all the photography.

* Almost completed a first round of proofing.

* Tweaked the few layouts that require it.

* Recieved the first cover proof! It's a good one!

They are in the process of gathering resources and writing how-tos. And, of course, starting to research stories for the Spring 2014 edition!

We hope the Fall issue will be out by mid- to late- August, and we'll keep you posted!

Ki Headed to the Old Glory Antiques Fair!

While we're waiting for the latest issue of Flea Market Style mag to appear, here's one way to get your vintage fix!

Ki will be making a special guest appearance at the Old Glory Antiques Fair, June 14-15 in Denver!

Old Glory Antiques owner Holly Kuhn has put together another fabulous affair for lovers of the old and patinated!

Ki will be a special guest at Friday's Picnic in the Park, along with Jo Packham, editor of Where Women Create, and Ben Ashby, editor of Folk magazine!

The picnic is a separate, $20 ticket.

Fair tickets are $5, good for both days, and available online here!
